This is interesting, lots of conservative whites don't like Woodrow either. And Obama is most often compared to him.

He was responsible for the federal reserve, the precursor to the UN, and passing the amendment for womens' right to vote. As a result, the government doubled in size.

Wilson's chief crime was his ownership by Jewish bankers. Wilson unleashed these folks on Germany after the armistice. In some minds he was the architect of World War 2.
