Oh...I see. U are trying to raise the level of intellugence in these topics. A good cause. First though, I think you should try to delete that topic/thread: "Something new and different". I think if Lil Brandie were here she would implore this too. It is because of threads like that: that this board has climbed down the intellectual ladder to that of backslapping and assurance seeking threads. It is sickening to someone like me who has seen very good debates on other sites. Not only that I have only been to three discussion boards. The first one died before I got there, but was intellectually in the highest class. The second one I took part in - It was great and full of desis (Indians, pakis, banglas, pathans, persians and afghans etc). It had people of my age range and was thoroughly informative and intellectual. Most of the people I conversed with were Ivy leagers, Uni undergrads, Med students, corporate lawyers, music lovers, music record label owners etc.. It was great!! So many interesting topics. But the site crashed - either because the server couldn't handle the amount of traffic or because some smartass bugged it (my bet is the guy who posted the microsoft secret codes "Debug").

Neway, that is the only reason why I am here. And I am sick to death of this site. It is full of pervs ! And illiterate heathens...Damn !! What is up with this ignore feature ? I hate this site - No wan can take a joke. I shall be leaving soon. Fukk the net !!!

Seriously, those other sites were fun as well. I was up to my same ol same ol antics as yayati. But the the more I read: the more I wanted to be involved in the debates Lol That's why I registered under another Sn as Atikayu. With that one, I was very serious and critical. As for yayati, I kept it up to stir some people up. But as I said, these guys were high calibre and they rumbled me heeeeeeeee The debates are non-existant here. It is all too personal. "I like you", "I don't like him". There is such a clique and ppl here seem to have no life outside the net, if you know what I mean...What do they do outside ? God knows Lol They never refer to their external experiences and even if they do it is some trivial piece of information.

I was never made to leave the persona of yayati behind. I was never asked any serious questions here u'know ? If they did ask me I would have answered them honestly. Only thing people did was either ignore me or pour scorn. Hahahahah ignoring ppl is okay cuz u can accept that but when it is done automatically - it just seems queer. How is one supposed to be a friend of someone with a diametrically opposed view, if the friend is painted with invisible ink ? That is what the ignore feature does...It does not allow people to see the other side of the fence. It allows censorship, partisanship and all those other things that go to make this board seem fascist in nature. Too controlling: to damned plain.

For those of you back in the beginning who insisted Yayati was faking, that it was all an act, congratulations. You were correct.

I disagree with Yayati about him/her being innocent and not starting anything when first arriving here. I could do the search work and post proof, but I don't think I need to. In my own situation, he/she seemed to target me after I pointed out that just because my nickname was "Cheyenne," it didn't mean I was an American Indian in RL. All I got from him/her after disclosing my German heritage was crap about being Hitler's grand daughter and other such off the wall garbage. Where was the incentive to read opinions of a mad man/woman?

I think you have to at least give the impression that your head is somewhere near reality for people to take you seriously. I look at "Yayati" as a lost opportunity by someone who may have had something to say, but got put on ignore for lack of communication skills to be able to say it.

Back on topic. I read yayati's posts for quite a while before I put him on ignore. He was the first person here I put on ignore, and outside of KinKy's dozen personas, he is the only one that remains on my ignore list.

I don't give a flying flip if we were supposed to crack that wretched little exterior and get to know the "real" person underneath. There are too many interesting people around here to spend time on someone who insists on creating a hateful character. I figured he had to be more than what he presented through yayati, but why is the burden on us to get to know him? Why the fuck didn't he take the time to get to know us first? What, he's so special that we have to jump through hoops to be worthy to be in his presence?

Since his two "intellectual" boards have withered, I wish him luck in finding another one that suits his high brow tastes. And I can assure him that this literate heathen won't mind his departure one bit.
