I don't get it! I can see pleading for comments. I love feedback as do others, but I don't care very much abou the number of votes.

I get plenty of feedback, although I do sometimes solicit for it when I want a specific type. (if you are clearly femail you will always get much feedback, though not always of the most helpful type)

Ten votes is needed to have any sort of ranking, and indeed to have any sort of idea how your story is being recieved. I like ranking. I like little H's by my stories. But even if I don't have that, I like to at least have enough votes to know if I *could* have an H. A peom with a 4.7 ranking is flattering, but what does it mean anyway when you only have three votes?

I know votes don't matter to some, but they do to me. Otherwise, I'd turn the voting off.
