So it had come to this. Another supposedly "tough" furry turned into a whimpering puppy after just two weeks! Alice sighed as she entered the shelter, hoping to pick up a dog furry who lasted longer than that. Two weeks! And she had not even gone too rough on him. As she walked along the row of cages, her merciless green eyes carefully studied each of them. Too small. Too thin. That one flinched for a moment when she fixed her eyes on him. Strange, she thought, that she scared them, even though she looked so harmless! A petite woman with long, blonde hair, she did not look the part of the cruel mistress at all... except for those eyes, glaring coldly out of an otherwise angelic face with a small nose and full lips.
The people working at the shelter knew her all too well. If they had known what she did to the abandoned furries she kept picking up there, they would have probably opened fire the moment she had stepped out of her car. But for all they knew, she was just some crazy dog lover. They did not suspect that she simply lost interest in her pets once they became docile. Then she mostly sold them off. They were very popular because you never needed to punish them in any way, except by mentioning her name.
She was already about to give up her search when she was magically attracted by a cage adorned with warning signs. The one inside was apparently fear incarnate. To her, though, that just meant fun.
