Raiders/Houston: Houston is giving up 4 here. Doesn't matter. Run away from this game!!!! Do not think about betting on it. A overpaid shitty QB vs. a rookie making his first playoff start? Game could go either way. Raiders are better on every-side of the ball except pass defense. Houston sucks at home. OK screw it..... Take the Raiders. It is the first game, how could you not bet after all.

Detroit/Seattle: Seattle is giving up 8. I hate Seattle. I like Stafford. That being said I am still taking Seattle. Wilson at home against poor defenses is almost always good and Stafford has not played the same since his finger injury.

Miami/Pitt: The spread is 10!! That is ridiculous. Pitt simply is not that good. Moore simply is not that big of a drop off from Tannehill. Pitt still can not stop the run. Big Ben is not that good. I am not saying Miami will win, but they will not lose by 10.

Giants/Packers: I want the Giants to win. I think they are the only team built to beat the Patriots and would love to see that SB again...GB has been on fire!! But it was all against weak teams or teams not playing for much. GB is giving up 4.5. Giant receivers decide to go party in Florida on their day off. I will take GB reluctantly.

Both Miami and Seattle should be locks.

Houston has the top ranked defense in the league and almost nobody is picking the Raiders because of that and the QB situation. And where do you get that they suck at home? They're 7-1 at home.

Not counting the spreads:

Texans
Seahawks
Steelers
Packers

There ya go. Spreads are too iffy in pro games. Anything more than 3 is a big gamble and shouldn't be bet on unless you know for sure Brady got to the balls before the game.

I will clarify; Brock sucks at home. He threw 12 picks at home and 4 on the road. Plus, Houston simply is not a home field advantage from a crowd or weather aspect. Raiders have a better O-line, Better special teams, and Mack is more of a difference maker than anyone Houston has.

Like I said, this is the one game I would think about not betting on, but if I had to I am going to take the points....

Brock does indeed suck at home but he sucks everywhere. It won't matter. Defense wins this game and it's gonna be Houston. With Carr they had a legitimate shot, now not so much.

I want the Lions to win but unless Seattle chokes it's not going to happen. Maybe in Detroit but even then I'd be reluctant to pick them. As was said, he just hasn't been the same since his fuck you finger got bent.
Jim Bob changed that offense nearly overnight. They will be a force once everyone is healthy and they make a few adjustments. Maybe a couple good draft choices.

Stafford pre-finger injury: 67.2% complete, 21 TD, 5 INT, Lions 8-4
Stafford post-finger injury: 60.2% complete, 3 TD, 5 INT, Lions 1-3

Yep, something is off there.

My boycott of all things NFL related aside, I'm going with the Patsies all the way. Like you, and so many others, they're my second least favorite team. But I've learned to never bet against them..........dammit.

Connor Cook had a rough time for a first playoff start. He's my guy. Made dreams happen for us MSU fans. I think in time he will get better. He used to MAKE drives happen.

Live in MI. Don't care about the Lions.

I like the Packers. Aaron Rodgers! One of the best..

I already miss college football. Hoping freaking Alabama goes down.

MSU as in Mississippi? You haven't produced anything like Manning since. Too bad he got stuck in NO during the 'suck' years.

Michigan State!! That's why I watched Connor Cook!
We had some damn good seasons... let's just let this season disappear forever. We will be back!!

Your Faiders pick makes your stab at Ben all the more funny.

Yes, I so strongly endorsed the raiders I feel silly.

So strongly that I actually have a trifecta of Seattle/Miami/raiders and a trifecta of Seattle/Miami/Houston.

Along with a two team teaser of Miami/Seattle and a heavy single team bet of Seattle that will cover the other three.

So the worst I can do us break even and I will win big as long as Miami covers 10.

And yes Big rapist, while good, has never been and will never be a great Qb.

My hope is that Sunday's games are more entertaining than Saturday's.
That Seattle guy who made the one-handed catches was pretty amazing, but otherwise both games were dull.
I think Pittsburgh will win today even though the run defense sucks. And I think the Packers will win too, though Manning has a good playoff track record there.
That puts the smart money on Miami and the Giants.

I guarantee you that you're not boycotting all things NFL related.

If it keeps going like this, Pittsburgh's sucky run defense isn't going to matter. Miami will have to pass.
