WILCO brings it in the TDC

They brought music, Lance. They brought melody and harmony and rhythm.

They brought some freaky little air-keyboard-thing that you power with a piece of clear latex tubing.

I posted the link, Lance. You don't have to take my word for it. Go get it, Lance.

DO it.

Wilco is a construction company that is based in the vicinity of my residence. I cannot recommend them to do anything that isn't half-assed.

Wilco is a great band. I was at one of their very first shows. I was a big Uncle Tupelo fan, so I was all about seeing the new band with most of the members from Uncle Tupelo. Now there are only two of those guys left, but they still sound really great. Jeff Tweedy has always been a great songwriter.

Do you know what that weird latex-tube-keyboard-thing is, NN? (They used it in the last song.)

I don't think I've ever seen that before.

Granted, if you weren't already familiar with this bunch, you'd probably need to work against your legit disdain associated with that name.

Tweedy's a real talent though, so it might be worth the effort?

What's not to like about Wilco?

I've never heard of Chvrches. Very nice. Thanks -- the sound sort of reminds me of The Sundays.

There are so many great things to choose from in the TDC pantheon. You are sure to find something to love, and something to hate. But, there is truly something for everyone.

I just never have. Not even Uncle Tupelo so maybe I just don't like Tweedy.

But you're right. There are so many performances that you will definitely find something you like. I also love finding some new music and bands I never thought would be very good in that setting.

Its a melodica. Its in the accordion/harmonica family. There are reeds that are excited by the wind of blowing into it. On the Ben Folds Five song Smoke its the instrument playing the melody before the vocal.

I did a youtube search, so I could get it to play on my TV and actually watched the older Wilco performance, I'm watching the new one now.
I didn't like U.T.
I don't like Ben Folds
I don't like Wilco
Sorry, we can't be friends anymore.
