Funny, I too called her Tiffany, but in a scenario that's only cursory applicable in this topic, perhaps...

Daniel married for the third time, a much younger girl (Stephanie), perhaps in great part just for emigration visa so he could be eligible for high level IT security job in aerospace industry (no, don't know does it actually help with classified technology export restrictions, but let's suppose). So they move in Stephanie's large and freshly lightly renovated house. With happens to be next to a famous school Daniel's son John is interested to attend and jumps on opportunity to move in with dad. Stephanie, who might or not be secretly about as much interested in the son as the father, has no objections.

There's several bedrooms but his choice of a suite seems obvious to him and isn't contested. Until, Tiffany, Stephanie's niece (or thereabouts), shows up, intended to attend the same school, perhaps, and discover "her" room is occupied in rather embarrassing way. When she brings that to Stephanie, she get a rebuttal that Johnny is now stepson and thus closer family and thus gets first dibs on a room choice. Tiffany says it's not fair because she's used the room before, visiting in the house for extended periods previously.

Johnny was about to relent, when he quipped "well, it's fairly large room."

"It has only one bed," Tiffany protested.

"Well, it's fairly large bed, too."

Everyone -- except Tiffany -- entertained by her outrage of the suggestion, it stays at that. Nobody, least of all Johnny, expected to find Tiffany indeed sitting on his bed with a scowl "I can't believe I'm doing this!" He doesn't, contrary to what the girl seems to expect, take advantage of her. In fact they sleep -- sleep! -- in the same bed for several nights before Tiffany outright informs Johnny she's finally dumped her previous idiot boyfriend. "Why," Johnny wonder. "You're asking?" She sounds mad, but sits down on the bed in rather suggestive manner.

Johnny takes it still slow from there. Both guys has reason to suspect Tiffany be just a gold digger, with or without encouragement by Stephanie. Thing is Johnny, son of Daniel's first wife (they married very young and she died in John's infancy) and being in great part brought up by her parents (dad's lifestyle had been less than orderly for a while) is eligible heir to their estate, with while modest, isn't nothing (perhaps, mostly land, great swathes of beautiful but next to useless land in a small, obscure far away country, but it sounds good).

Tiffany, however... well she is indeed, in a sense, but she just has to get away from her backwards, ultrareligious family.

Did I mention Johnny is a pagan?

Well, the scenario perhaps more natural if not eligible for this site (both youngers being dependents), but perhaps can be made to work.

This has been done before - it's called "A Streetcar Named Desire." The reasons for Blanche's arrival vary a bit in the play versus the movie. She is certainly is at loose ends. It's apparent that she can no longer afford to live in the traditional family house - it's more like a mansion I think.

In the movie, Blanche and Stanley have the hots for each other in the very first scene. When he finally does get it on with her, Blanche seems to have changed her mind and the sex is probably not consensual. In the 1984 version with Ann-Margaret, it seems even more obvious that it is a rape.

Anyway, the movie versions could give you some hints about how they interact. Brando's swagger is impressive and also funny at times. I suspect you have different ideas for the sex, how consensual it is, how often they do it. You could have them in a three-way with the wife, as somebody suggested above. That would certainly bring in more readers.

It might even work as a series if you want to add more plot points.

Young enough to be of interest of the son that is in his prime and has yet to move out.

You could reverse the "Streetcar Named Desire" scenario. The husband could be mild and passive, while the sister is very confident. She could dominate the husband, probably both mentally and physically.

In the original, the wife is a pretty nice person, but you could have her as a real bitch. Another version is that the husband does swagger like Stanley Kowalski, but the two sisters team up to rein in his worst behavior
