Fun take on the old key party... multiple couples, multiple rooms... each room is themed based on kink. Each individual draws from a bowl in secret... men first, ladies first... whatever. The other member goes to the meeting room and is assigned a room number to go to. The kicker is, nobody knows who's in each room, so it could be M or F. For added flavor, a few others are added into the mix. These could be professionals or just random singles. Maybe even a celebrity or two. A real potluck fuck.

OP mentions an afterparty, so that could be worked in where after a set time period, everybody goes to the Ballroom to ... ball.
