Wife Attends Party Alone

This idea came up after my husband showed up several hours late to a large party. I was there on time, but only knew a small number of attendees. Normally excruciating for me. Most of the other guests assumed, or chose to assume I was single, especially the other single men. I chose not to disabuse them of my status since I was pretty ticked off at my husband at that point. Had several gropes from dance partners and more than one suggestion that I should accompany one of them outside for more intimate relations, and one offered to take me back to his place for the night. My husband finally showed up to 'rescue' from my latest dance partner. But I let him know if he'd been any later I'd have been off with one of my partners. With only a little embellishment it can make a good story. Any Suggestions welcomed.

From your previous post I have an idea of your situation and I can understand how your stories might lead in this direction. But don't dismiss the idea of a more loving relationship where she acts like she's just meeting her own husband when he walks in.
Sadie smiled at the handsome man and extended her hand. "Hi, I'm Sadie. Are you a friend of Jon?" she asked with a wink.
Randy blinked hard for a moment in surprise and then shook Sadie's hand. "Yes, I'm Randy. I'm on Jon's softball team," he said, just savvy enough to play along with whatever his lovely wife was cooking up. "Would you like to dance, Sadie?"
Over the course of the night she lets her husband seduce her, much to the chagrin of the other men.
I did something similar with Fancy Meeting You and the readers loved it.

Don't be afraid to let the story take you in other directions, beyond the initial idea based on a real experience.

much depends on the hubby's feelings about you taking off with another man: maybe he'd file for divorce, or totally not care. or one of the many things in between.

That actually is a game my husband and I have played a couple times. Going out to a bar separately and pretending to be single and meeting each other in the midst of me being chatted up by other men. We were inspired by an episode of "Mad Men" where John Hamm and his wife are vacationing in Italy. She's alone at an outdoor café with a number of locals attempting unsuccessfully to get a friendly response from her. Then her husband, posing as stranger, convinces her to leave wth him, much to the chagrin of the others. Their game was helped by her fluency in Italian when turning down the other men. Definitely a good scenario.

Ah. That's a nice twist. Especially if she doesn't know in advance he's going to show up with a date of his own. Then her reaction can make the plot veer off in some different directions. She hooks up with another guy? They do a foursome pretending not to know each other? Then swap during the foursome? Other ideas? I Like getting these ideas that don't occur to me initially. Thanks.

I like the idea of them starting a foursome but the wires stud ends up seducing both women, and proving sexuallly superior to the husband.

Another good option. I do lean into cuckold scenarios since my husband has long enjoyed those aspects. And some of my previous stories include that angle to mostly positive reviews.

An in between response provides more room for additional lines to continue the story. Divorce/break up ends the story and total acceptance seems to close the book on any interesting follow up actions. But that might be a lack of imagination on my part?

Absolutely. And then decides she needs to continue with the newfound partner AND the woman her hubby brought along. Turns out they discovered their mutual bisexuality that night and need to explore it further. To make her hubby feel better she sends pics and videos when she goes to meet her new friends.
