A few non-consent ideas come to mind. An evening with the wife is the stakes in a wager. Her fantasy is to be "taken, but in a nice, familiar way". Revenge on the part of the brother for some wrong committed by the husband.

Blackmail would work only if the brother was a reluctant participant. But, that could be worked out as a story device.

Unregistered says he has been trying to get his wife to take a lover. No mention was made about how she feels about it. Her attitude would dictate the direction of the story.

the old standby is the mistaken identity- wife dresses up as someone else, or switchs places in the dark

Scrap the non-consent ideas.

How about hubby is no great shakes in bed. Hubby's single brother, living next door, has a reputation as a great lover. Wife hears tales of his exploits from mutual friends for a long time.

Things progress into either a threesome or wife's night with the brother. Husband consents in either case.

The question would come up, is it incest? Another thread explored the in-law as incest question with no solid conclusion.

As a "Loving Wives" story it could sizzle. As an incest story, it's pretty tame stuff.
