Hmmmmmm is right. Don't think that the thought isn't enough to drive me outta my skin, but I think the boundaries here are what make this place so alluring.
I do know that two people actually did get together, and even posted a thread of pics and stories, but that is a rare case and I think they are few and far between.
However, if there are those who want to take the next step and actually meet, well we're all adults here and if lifestyle and personal obligations are not a hang up, then I say go for it.

For such a sarcastic post, I'm suprised I am responding.
But I feel the need at the moment to find my voice, so here goes.
I came here through a link from another board to the amateur pics posted here and was literally stunned. I never knew such a place existed on the internet. I have never even been to porn sites before, so yes, I was blown away. I stayed awhile, and began to find very tasteful short stories...and so much more. The pics posted here were the first I've ever seen (other than a few eye candy shots here and there of gorgeous men, but never were they even fully erect, much less anything I have seen here.) and I have to tell you, it had a tremendous effect on me. It was rather timely, and I'll explain that in a moment. After looking around a little more, I found another link here to a site featuring live broadcast adult webcams...and my life changed. It awakened something in me that I have been "aware" of for a long time, but basically swept under a rug because i had no idea what else to do with it. I am not sexually active, havent been in years because I was in a very sad, difficult marriage, but also because I have lived most of my life (Im 41) alternating back and forth between very promiscous behavior that left me locked up and miserable sexually, to being the other extreme....locked up and frigid. At my age, my life is more than half over, its time I get with it, and continue to heal, (childhood rape) and explore this woman inside who has never been able to express herself sexually, not even alone, with herself.
So for me, this is about sexual exploration and sexual healing. If this is something that feeds me, that helps me to feel and to express those feelings in any manner at all, then it is a very good thing, wouldn't you say?
To your comments on this being mostly online...maybe, but thats an assumption on your part. Maybe so much more is going on that you can't see? It is the internet, afterall. And maybe for most it is purely an erotic exchange between two wanting, consenting adults. Its no business of mine how others handle their lives, and judging is the very last thing I'll do. Besides, I believe that if needs are met here in such a safe (from a health perspectivce) and comfortable place for them, their home or office or where ever, then so be it. I can only imagine the enrichment it provides the rest of their lives.
I would not dare say that this is purely online for me. In my time on the net before I came here, I always welcomed the people I met into my offline life, because I am as wide open on the net as I am with the rest of my life, I have always been that way and I dont know any other way to be. My friendships dont end in emails, I use the phone, postal mail, and have even met someone in person. I would welcome so many more into meeting in person, and do, but theres always reasons why they can't. (Hell, usually they are married....sigh...) And honestly, I recently met someone who says he wants me so much that he is moving here to be with me and even wants to marry me....but I'll believe it when I see it. And this is the sad, hard part of these exchanges....those that are players, predators....they can hurt you. You have to grow a very thick skin and use your head...but sometimes they can be so damn convincing.
It remains to be seen.....
For the most part, I have been a fantasy for others, and though its not all I want, its the core of it, and until it no longer gives me what it has so far, I'll be here. In the mean time, the men here (and even a certain lady who took the time to share her thoughts and feelings with me) have given me a gift...they have literally aroused me and provoked me to feel, to relax and allow that feeling to develop, and well, its a beautiful thing. 31 years behind walls have kept me from this most basic of human responses....and when the right situation, OKOK, the right man is finally in my arms...oh, how I will express it.
