Why would anyone misrepresent themselves at Lit?

At the risk of sounding bitchy or catty (though I am feeling a little like that this week), there are several people whom I think are posting false pics just to be ooed and ahhhed by others (and the funny thing is it's the same guys responding...ummm hello!?)

It doesn't bother me so much as confuse me: why not just be yourself? I think it's been demonstrated repeatedly that all ages, body types, looks etc are desired and admired by many.

I can see the lure..it's great for the ego to be told how hot and beautiful you are, but if it's under false pretenses, what's the point?

To those with the confidence to bare yourselves in your less than "porn-star perfect" form....Bravo to you!!

I have NEVER done that before. And what is more, today I bought even more batteries and took some more. Even got a moneyshot in there! Now, there's a FIRST. It's dripping down on my nuts and a splatter across my palm too.

The only reasoning I can see behind it is to manipulate others, or to get others to do things they normally wouldn't do.

There are plenty of "pro" pics on the amatuer pic BB.
Why someone would do that is beyond me. Some people will say that they posted this or posted that from a site, but I do believe there are misrepresentations on there.

Besides all of the ambiguous nuances of being online, I have never posted a pic or A/V that was not me. Although I have shared PM's with others it is not the paramount to who I am. You ask why, but for it to be definitive and known is a an endless path. Accept that there is the deception and there is the "real deal" beyond it all. You just have to take a chance and hope that the other is more than a feather of explicit notions and dreams, but hey, dig deeper and know that the internet as well as life is not so forgiving…
