What was the number one song the day you where born?

I'm afraid to look. I would want it to be some iconic classic rock song but the odds are it was disco.

(Hey Won't You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song - B.J. Thomas

I can hear the tune in my head. I always thought that was from the 60's not 1975.

I looked mine up a while ago - we call it the birthsong.

Rivers of Babylon by Boney M. Ah well. Could have been a lot worse:

Ruby Tuesday, The Rolling Stones

She would never say where she came from
Yesterday don't matter if it's gone
While the sun is bright
Or in the darkest night
No one knows
She comes and goes

Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?
When you change with every new day
Still I'm gonna miss you...

Don't question why she needs to be so free
She'll tell you it's the only way to be
She just can't be chained
To a life where nothing's gained
And nothing's lost
At such a cost

Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?
When you change with every new day
Still I'm gonna miss you...

There's no time to lose, I heard her say
Catch your dreams before they slip away
Dying all the time
Lose your dreams
And you will lose your mind.
Ain't life unkind?

Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?
When you change with every new day
Still I'm gonna miss you.

On the US Charts:
Downtown ~ Petula Clark

In the UK:
Go Now ~ Moody Blues

The number one song in the US on July 15, 1957 was (Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear by Elvis Presley

Donna Summer - Bad Girls

Which is hilarious because she has provided hours of laughter for me. Whenever I'm feeling like a sad girl, Donna Summer's videos always deliver, there's just something about her quaalude driven music and dance that makes me smile.

Tonight's the Night by Rod Stewart

I barely dodged Disco Duck. I guess I'm happy.
