Conservatives should also hang their heads in shame for allowing the House leadership to be even considered honestly interested in the fate of the American People at large. McConnell should be sent back to Kentucky in handcuffs.

But as to the OP, Edwards wasn't considered for President, he was picked to be the yes man for Kerry. one look at him told me that he was a bullshit artist and would have made a fine Vice-President, as long as Kerry lived.
