What is this social construct that exists that says that another adult is exempt from being punched in the face because she has a vagina. I took Bri to Wal-Mart for food in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. I felt like, because it was the middle of the goddamn night, we wouldn't be harassed by rednecks. But NOPE. I literally got called a "Nigger Lover" tonight by some stupid bitch, along with a SLEW of bullshit about Bri. If she was a guy I would have BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF HER. As it was I had no idea what to do because it was seriously a gaggle of these stupid redneck women, and I was finally just like, "Fuck it, just ignore them." And we left.

And I realized that I've been raised with this STUPID assumption that having a vagina grants you free reign to go through life without the consequences of your action. If a guy runs his mouth like that to me, I would bust him in it. And I literally cannot find a SINGLE reason why there's a divide among gender lines here. Like, seriously, WHAT THE FUCK!?

In this culture, yes you can. Not only can you, but it's expected. If I had let a guy talk to her like that, it would have been a giant thing. It would have brought dishonor on me, dishonor on my family, and dishonor on my cow. I'm not as pissed off anymore, so I don't want to hit her anymore, but I dislike that there's this cultural difference where half a chromosome determines whether or not I'm allowed to defend myself from you.

And in the whole, "Men are generally stronger" thing, as far as I know, that's complete bullshit. Men tend to have more upper body strength and greater grip strength, but women tend to outpace on speed, endurance, and lower body strength. If you're both in comparable shape, it's a fair fight. Basically, you have to remember that it's half a chromosome. Full blood siblings, regardless of gender, are more similar in physiological tests like strength then say, the brother and a random other guy. Genetic similarities trump sex similarities.
