What gets me is the press wants to portray a defeat in Iraq so they can get their party back in power and will go to any length to make sure you see nothing but blood, carnage, and now the daily war-protest report, instead of interviews with the actual soldiers in the field because the reporters refuse to leave the Green Zone. And then, their reporting becomes your personal validation for cheering for defeat too and coupled with your blind hatred of Bush, it causes you to go off the deep end and attack everybody and everything, but never the issue. You are the exclaimation to my point.

Station General Manager David D'Antuono said the decision was not influenced by the station's owner, Clear Channel Communications Inc.

Celeste Zappala, who with Sheehan co-founded Gold Star Families for Peace, said she was puzzled by the decision.
