Why rich people are c*nts

I don't usually use the word 'c*nt'. It's offensive (though I'm not sure why, I mean, calling someone a 'dick' is a complete joke), and it sounds pretty harsh. Perhaps it's best left alone, I mean, otherwise it might get over-used and lose its edge.

But in some circumstances, it seems appropriate. Maybe I'll start selectively adding 'c*nt' to my vocabulary.

Take Hans Rausing, for example. He's a 'c*nt' of the highest order. Here is a man who is worth, by conservative estimate, billions of pounds (dollars, whatever...). In 1996, he made £4,500million after selling a piece of his family firm, for example.

The man lives in Britain, but his accountants are so good (read: despicable) that our government pays him more to encourage him to locate his factories in this country than he pays in taxes. Not that he pays much tax, of course. 'Cause he's rich, goddammit.

Meanwhile, honest hard-workers without much money have to pay 40% of every pittance we earn in taxes.

Now I'm no communist - god knows that system doesn't work - and I believe that success should bring rewards. But I don't believe a man being paid £50 million a year (to take a random figure) is going to have an awful time of it if £25million of that goes into taxes to help the needy.

Anyway, here's the story about Mr Rausing, published by the Mirror newspaper >>>

What a c*nt! And there are many, many people like him.

Lord Sean of Connery, that once distinguished actor, used to be a great favourite of mine. Sadly, he feels that paying taxes is an activity beneath him. So he lives in some Mediterranean island. But then he feels he can come into Britain and try and mess with the political system. Screw you, Sean. You have millions in the bank, so get with the f*cking programme. We ordinary folks have to work hard, we ordinary folks don't like paying taxes, life is tough.

Oh, and when people like this do decide to put something back into society, they call it 'charity'. Bill Gates rips billions of people off, and with 0.000000000001% of his daily pocket money, he builds a children's hospital and we all praise his name. Alleluiah, for Bill is actually a good man! Sure, he pays no taxes, but look - he gave that homeless man a nickel!

So rich people pay no taxes, but when they do 'donate' something to society, it is to boost their ego. Us normal taxpayers don't get that. Perhaps, since I paid £100 or whatever in taxes this week, I should get my name put on show in a hospital. This chamber pot was bought through the dutiful tax payment of Mr Max Sebastian of Chiswick, London.

Now, while I'm in a ranting mood, I'm reading a rather good little book called Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser (which may explain my militant mood), and it turns out that wealthy automobile manufacturer General Motors went around America buying up the public transport systems in various cities, then dismantling them so that poor folks would be forced to buy cars.

What a bunch of c*nts!
