A while back Laurel asked if the denizens here would like to separate the politics from the GB. A poll was set up and when the votes were in a politics board (It's that way -->) was voted into existence so that the political discussees could have a place all their own.

HOWEVER, like all sections of society there were those who didn't want it. So rather then bowing to the will of the majority, they fell to the floor, kicking and screaming, vowing to hold their breath until they turned blue if they didn't get their way. And so it came to pass that those who threw a fit and refused to go were left on the GB to post political threads and the adults quietly went to the PB and are as of this moment discussing politics there. It's not any less acrimonious, just contained on the PB.
Such is the story and such is life.
