Hmmmmmmm......well....its nice to let people see what you look like I suppose....and some people like to show themselves off to others.......I suppose whether you see it as exhibtionism or just honest wholesome entertainment.........this forum does pretty good don't you think?

I believe in leaving a little mystery about yourself.....like the body pics on here.....no faces or parts of faces....

There are people NHG and Mae who just love to show you everything... and too right....because they are both beautiful people in their own right.

I not entirely sure why I was so pulled to post a pic in the first place, but I think maybe it was a desire to finally put everything out there and once and for all get whatever reaction was coming and be done with it. I sensed there would be a freedom of sorts after there were no more secrets about my body, length, girth, dangle angle, etc. The experience and the response was indeed a real liberating experience for me, (some may say a little too liberating, thank you). (999) out of (1000) responses were wholly supportive, accepting, and encouraging. It really does feel a bit like being "set free". If by "wondering" you meant why did this country boy do it, there you have it. If by "wondering" you meant wondering whether to try it yourself, I encourage you to do so. I know you'll be glad you did.

For me its an exploration into my exhibitionist fetishes. Cyberworld keeps everything anonymous (unless you want to show your face). It allows you to experiment and explore without having to justify your actions. I think it is a wonderful forum and the positive feedback helps the ego. I dont get alot of those types of flattering comments about my body in real life (except from my boyfriend of course) and sometimes its just really nice to hear. For the most part, Lit seems to be a decent forum with decent folks, but there can always be a bad apple. For those who post pictures, just realize that you are giving up control of where they might end up. In other words, if you're worried about your next door neighbor (or grandma) seeing you, you should work hard to hide your true identity.

You see I have to be very careful myself, being from a very strict catholic background....and I'm sure that even my Granny's heart could not take the stress of seeing me. I'm supposed to be the model of the ex convent girl....(she wishes)...

Heh, I guess I have a few different reasons...

Honestly, I first started out because of a bit of a pity binge, lol. My marriage had ended quite a few months earlier, and I was a bit pissed the only person that had asked me out was the cross-eyed man at the dump who had proudly told me of his two illegitimate children he wanted help raising (Gods help me, I am dead serious here!). You know when you aren't looking for something, but you still get a bit down that it hasn't been offered to you? Yeah, something like that....but I'd found Lit ages ago, and had finally found the BB's earlier this year...I started browsing (and admiring, oh yeah!) the pictures here, realized it was a pretty cool crowd...hence the idea was formed. Plus, it gave me an avenue to further my exhibitionistic tendencies! I've noticed in the 'real world', exhibitionism=whore to many people...but here I don't have to worry about someone thinking me being naked gives them the right to touch me without asking! That's sort of nice too

After I started posting though, I realized how much fun I had doing it; thinking of SO many ideas for shoots, realizing how I could tie in my passions for picture-taking and erotica and the human figure...and I'll admit, it was pretty nice to get my ego stroked, hehe. It feels good to know others find you attractive, whether it be in that "wow, you're very pretty" way or that "damn, you make me need to go get myself off!" sort of way. In a strange way, it fulfills a little bit of what I miss not having a partner, that reassurance that you are still a sexy creature to some other spirit in this world.

Course, it also helps satisfy the shameless slut inside me <eg> She's a demanding Mistress sometimes...

I'd like to take the opportunity to once again thank you all for answering this question for me. I myself probably wouldn't do it.
Can't anyway, I lack a scanner or digital camera. Poor mouse.

My fun side is hearing why people do it. Here the nice commments others get, etc. I think it could be fun, but I'll wait until I'm 80 and then NOBODY could recognize me.

Please continue answering this question. I would like to hear more and I'm certain others would too. We all have inner beauty. Sometimes that can be seen in the eye of the beholder even if we don't have a perfect body.

Sienna- You look like a model to me. Even if you are short, I bet some of those 6ft women wouldn't have a chance against ya.

Why is the sky blue?

Asking why people would post "their" picture(s) online is as ambiguous to "why" we are here in the first place. To express and show your exterior self as to seek or rectify appreciation. to allow others to see your physique beyond the words and to allow another to come that one step closer to seeinf the flesh, connected to the words and the mindset that encompasses it all...to an extent.

Pictures may attract attention and it defines a person much more than words, but that is only a small aspect of it. To shed no shame to ones' attributes in order to release it to the visual and perhaps that moment where a visual can touch more than words can. Also, to just friggin show off in oder to attract and cultivate and engagement in any medium, har, har!

To deceive or gather a possible perception and to allow another to see that beauty is not the picture, but the brainpower and passionate heart within, etc, etc...

It’s just another form of expressing yourself. If you have the right confidence and you want to share what you have to those with similar interest, why not.

Sometime ago, during my unattached period, I wanted to hook up with people with the same little freakiness that I have. I had three pics to post to those that were curious. The first on was a close up of me from the waist up with my sunglasses on (I had to have some privacy). The second was another close up of my hard endowment followed by third pic of my climatic eruption. I felt proud of them with no shame and I received very good responses.

Unfortunately, I saved them on to floppy for which my snooping girlfriend found and destroyed them. She also put away my camera.
