First of all: welcome to the AH!

With regard to your observations about "hurt and punishment" and "beatings and whippings" I presume you're talking about BDSM?

The only BDSM I write about, which, yes, does involve a large degree of "punishment" spankings (and that which I also partake in in real life) are done between consenting partners, with an immense amount of trust and love between them. It's all "fun" and not "serious beatings" at all. It's a kick some of us get out of certain aspects of sex. We all have kinks, and there's nothing wrong in writing about them, or even practising in them, if it's all consensual.

If you're talking about more extreme stuff, like actual abuse, then I don't "get it" either, and I honestly didn't think that was allowed on Lit.

Just to give you the benefit of the doubt, I assume you mean you understand why underage sex is banned, not that you understand underage sex.

Personally I can take or leave BDSM and with so many catagories to choose from, their is no need to visit a catagory where you might feel uncomfortable. In truth, people in real life relationships are infinitely crueler to one another than the consenting BDSM relationships posted here which are works of fiction.

Please clarify your position on underage sex to avoid possible misunderstandings.

And isn't it a wonderful thing that we're all different and all enjoy different things? That way we all find someone(s) with whom to share what we enjoy and the world isn't a boring place.

They might not be what you call sexy, but a lot of people do. Conversly, what you find to be sexy, a lot of others might not.

I willingly submit to my lover (notice I use the word "lover") and I know for a fact that he wouldn't do anything to me that would really hurt me. It's all good fun! Sex is meant to be fun, isn't it?

Also, you must bear in mind that a lot of stories are just that, and are written in a much more extreme way than a lot of people would actually practice, in real life. Some do, of course. My take on why he said what he did...
