seriously why havent the writers posted a thread on some of the other boards in connection with the calentines day contest to let some of the readers on the other forums know whats going on. I can tell by a few conversations I have had that alot of them dont even realize. Would this not be a good way to get the readers involved or would this be a taboo invasion. Seriously want to know here

Im too newbie assed to understand all the rules
and would like to have some writer support to make the thread.
I dont want to do a self promotion , but a contest promotion for all involved maybe with all the links etc. If I get some back up going in here I'd be happy to do the work though.

I only did one contest, and only one challenge. I didn't have a very good time with either of them, and I won't be doing more.

The site itself banners forth the current contests, don't they?

Well from a newcomer point of view
It doesnt seem that they really do advertise the contest that much , and to tell the truth alot of the people who have been here more than once tend to bookmark their favorite sections and forums and bypass the front page.

I dont have the link myself. But great Idea. My only point here is I don't want to step on anyones toes. If to many writers feel that crosssing forums would cause problems, then I would feel bad.

Pooh. Not an issue.

And you are quite correct, as usual. I never see the contest things, because I cut right in to the parts of the site I use. Also I don't follow the contests any more. The front page is probably not viewed much by regulars here who just use the boards and read the stories.
