Winter drags on. Valentine's Day approaches, filling people with excitement, nervousness, sadness, frustration, or merely a weary apathy. The habits you've picked up over the winter grow more tedious than comforting. The whole world could do with a good airing.
Here's where I come in! I can't make keeping New Year resolutions suddenly interesting again, but what I can do is add a new element to your reality. You're reading the personals because you're toying with the idea of talking to someone new. I'm new, and I'm fantastic.
I'm not here to cyber with you. I won't give you a cam show or naughty pictures. If you want that, go to virtually any other advert. I'm here to offer something much rarer: awesome conversation.
If I seem overconfident in that, just consider. When was the last time you had an engaging, intelligent conversation with a stranger who knew the difference between Boomer and Athena, Tom and Colin, the robber and the pirate ship, Munroe and Milholland, or even Ringworld and Discworld? (The more of those you get right due to personal knowedge rather than Google, the more we have in common.) And wouldn't it be nice to talk to someone with a touch of the bizarre to her banter?
If it's occurring to you that yes, you could use a little more fun-crazy in your life, you should drop me a message. If you're still undecided, check out my previous posts to get a free sample of how my brain works.
Some caveats: I'm looking for people who type well. Language matters to me. If you type poorly, I'm unlikely to be interested. In the same vein, I'm looking for someone who loves to communicate. I will be deleting messages that do not actually start a conversation. Small talk is tedious; why don't we do away with it when we can? Gender, SAAB, orientation, physical appearance, and age (18+) are irrelevant to me. Just bring me those lovely, lovely brains!
