You could probably ask a question similar to the title of this thread of many pols. Why did Ted Kennedy not go to prison for leaving the scene of the fatal accident: Why did Barbara Boxer not get in any trouble over all the bad checks she wrote?

There are many more similar questions that could be asked about pols of all parties, if you wanted to track them down. Politicians, like Hollywood celebs who are in California, are almost immune from the law.

Cheney, in particular, had no real power, except as an advisor to W. If you are going back far enough, why not LBJ, who escalated the war in Vietnam or JFK who sent US combat troops and, earlier, launched an ill-fated invasion of Cuba.

So, if it's lame to hold someone accountable for doing the job that they ran for and allegedly won an election on; if it's lame to expect that someone who spews about the sacrifices these folks have made (one that neither W nor C have any idea of) and then forgets about them after they've been mutilated and scarred for life; then lame it is....

Fox News is news, and I believe it to be at least as fair as any other medium. Fox also has oponion and analysis shows, such as O'Reilly and Beck, and those are largely opinions and interviews. All networks have similar shows where people say what they think, about political and other matters.

I wasn't talking about quarterly payments to the IRS, that is in most cases a guessing game, yet big business has no problem with making the correct payment, that's what accounting software is for.

I was referring to April 15th...four months after the close of the year for most people that own a small business and file Schedule C. At that time they KNOW what they made and choose not to report certain things. At least until they are caught, then it's...oh I forgot about that million, oh and this other million or so I didn't even know I had, sorry.

Oh, and is missing asset wasn't cash from a business is was proceeds from a property, if I'm not mistaken.
