Why is the US producing so much more oil under Biden than Trump?

how do those stats compare with the amount of crude oil/refined oil products the US was importing from countries whose gov'ts/economies were in direct competition to us? One graph without comparisons and context is deliberately misleading. Also, to ensure continuity of availability for the consumer of oil products given OPECs cutbacks on production.
producing more means importing less, better for the US economy and necessary to fuel the transition between 'dirty' and clean energy. Just because more is being produced doesn't mean more is being used in total, though i don't have the figures to affirm anything for sure. We do know, however, that the use of 'clean/green/renewable' energy sources is growing exponentially.
