Why is lit chat not working for me?

I use a kindle to access literotica chat and recently I've been unable to participate. I can log in and join a room. Sometimes there is a gray bar at the top of the chat screen and I cannot see anyone's posts. Other times I can see posts and I can submit one myself, but then it's like I'm locked out. I can see people joining and leaving the room, but it doesn't display anyone's posts. Any idea of what is going on?

I use my kindle all the time for chat, might be some setting or pop up blocker.
