You know, I know droves of women who are into slash and gay porn. These women are younger, older, lesbian, bi, straight....all sorts of different people from different cultures and walks of life. In fact, I'd say 99% of slash writers are probably women writing gay encounters.

I have this theory about women and their love of gay porn....You know the saying about a person never wanting to be a member of any club who would have them as a member? It's sort of the same thing, the party to which you could never be invited. Maybe this applies to men being into lesbian porn too. It's a window into something mysterious that most people may never experience in person. Gay porn stars don't want us to wash their clothes or make them dinner, they are just there for our entertainment.

Of course, straight porn is geared towards straight men mostly, so the men tend to be more average and the women more "accentuated". My unnoficial theory on why lesbians are attracted to gay porn is a sort of take off on Paglia's "male energy" theory - i.e., males are typicaly more aggressive, and gay males can be particularly aggressive - a matter of pure testosterone rather than some mystical "energy" I'd say, but possibly it raises their testosterone levels, and testosterone makes you hornier.

Ughhh...tell me about it...i didnt used to enjoy porn really, it was all 'accentuated' women, fake scenarios, high pitched giggles and fake sex.

In other words it was aimed at heterosexual men.

In attempts to open my mind up to porn, i was exposed to porn made by women for women etc etc...i was and am more impressed and much more open to porn now, but only that kind. It was a real couple, having sex on camera. No elaborate sets, no humungous/ obvious implanted breasts...the like.

Now im able to enjoy porn if it has some semblance of reality to it, otherwise im not interested.
