For those of us who live in the Northeast, WTF is going on???

I had to put my air conditioner on last night.

We almost didn't get snow. Just a bunch of dark gloomy fog. Finally snowed today. And this is freaking Wisconsin! We get snow 7-8 months out of the year regularly!

It's edging on 34C here (or 95 for you imperial users), but then, it is Summer here

Why?

Because the Global Warming guys-n-gals got it right.

Because we measly humans have seriously fucked the planet's climate cycles.

Because the whole planet is gonna melt down.

That's why.

Bend over and smile.

I also heard rumor that the magnetic pols are moving locations. There for changing the till of the earth on it's axis. OFC that as just a lil something from the rumor mill. I wonder how much of that is true?

Right, and last year at this time when the NE was buried under snow it was just weather.
This is supposed to be a severe el nino year. I don't know when it starts, but I do remember the last one and it was cooler and wetter in the winter and spring in the SW and much milder in the NE.

Global warming doesn't mean everything is hotter. It means weather is more extreme; hotter heat waves, stormier storms, melting icecaps, shifting oceanic currents. Bad shit. Bend over.

You left out colder cold and wetter rain.

Have you looked at the temps for 1955?

This is actually a possibility.

;)

Russian climatologists, who are not under the pay of Western governments, unlike some other climatologists are predicting another mini-ice age.

But for where I live, these temps are merely normative.

It's just weather folks...

It's called El Niño.

Here are the facts:

* There has been no change in the rate of sea level rise.
* There has been no change in Global Sea Ice Area since satellite-based measurement began in 1979.
* The Global Climate Models have utterly failed to accurately forecast global temperatures.
* There are major flaws in the reliability and integrity of the historic global surface station temperature data.
* There has been massive tampering with and adjustment of the global surface station temperature data.
* There are major flaws in the reliability and integrity of the historic sea surface temperature data ( not least of which is coverage and methods).

Face it; the historic global temperature data (prior to 1980? 1970?) are completely unreliable.

As usual you remain wholly ignorant on this subject.

"Florida sea-level rise can, for most practical societal
purposes, be considered to be essentially
similar to global sea-level rise throughout the
state’s coastal areas (Merrifield et al., 2009).
The rate of global sea-level rise increased from
the 19th century to the 20th (Kemp et al.,
2009) and is still doing so. This rate increase is
due to both ocean warming and the contributions
from both land-based ice melt from
glaciers and the ice sheets of Greenland and
Antarctica.
The most recent satellite observations confirm
global average sea-level rise to be about 80%
faster than the best estimate of the IPCC Third
Assessment Report"
