I feel the need to look at the positives. Feel free to join me.
I love the PF&D forum because:
- even if I am busy and not able to be here, I know there is a place where I can learn about poetry and challenge myself alongside others who are doing the same.
- I can have conversations on topics that I don't have much opportunity to explore elsewhere. These conversations often lead to inspiration for poetry or art.
- I can learn from others who have been more successful at poetry than I have been.
- the contests here are fun ways to challenge myself and do not foster silly competition drama or a need to feel superior.
- I can ask for feedback and get honest, helpful constructive criticism.
