Dear all,
I have lately come through a very difficult phase in my life - mentally as well as physically. During that time I could always count on people and friends I had on MSN that I met on lit. I only joined Lit (actively) in January and still think I haven't found my 'place' yet in here but I met many who greatly showed their acceptance and did respect my opinion, which wasn't necessarily the same as theirs.
May it have been Bindii when she literally saved my ass by sending my essay to my Professor when I had problems with my email.
Or Georgia Girl who is always there for me and gave me a couple of virtual slaps to get me straight again.
Or Morgaine, roxie, foxinsox who are absolute darlings, or guys like Starblayde, Tyrael, Mensa, Lobito and riff(dude), bluespoke, freescorfr who always had an open ear and a cuddle.
This is not to kiss (rim) ass but a public congratulation to lit for its integrated support network. I know that Lit is supposed to be a Porn Board but I have discovered that there is so much more behind it. It seems like an intrinsinc network of people who are neither stuck-up nor pretentious (the most of them anyway) nor judgemental on people's looks or religious believes. Or judge by the size of their dick or by the kind of porn that gets them sweaty.
You can ask stupid things - some of them will only give you stupid answers, but that's Lit.
From Crampons to Tampons - everything can be discussed at lit. It's cliquey but that's natural. Some people don't get on with each other, but that's natural, too. What I can always expect from a visit to the boards is a conversation ranging from brainmassage to braindrainage, but I know that one way or another my voice will be heard (and if I have to force you buggers, you will hear me, I tell you!
) and at most occasions understood or constructively challanged.
That's why I like Lit and that's why I think it is one bloody good Board and I think we should be proud of Laurel and Manu because of all the quality time they are donating to our virtual well-being.
That's all
Halo
