Why Has Lit Gotten Slower?

Okay, the board is moving rather rapidly so that's not the problem.

However, I've posted my 13th story here on the 4th of December. In addition, I submitted the same story to 2 other websites. So far, it only took a day for it to post on one site and a week for the other. Everytime I check this site, it's still "pending". I used to submit stories here and it would be up in a day or two. Now it's going on week #2 for this story.

Maybe one of the MODs can help me with this one. What's the change here?

I've noticed it too. I've got two audio stories I've submitted one or two times, cos' I thought maybe they were still having server problems, but I haven't seen them posted yet... it's been over three weeks now. I can't get ahold of Laurel, maybe you should ask her? Or Manu?

My first story took over a week to be posted. Maybe it's just the holiday season, everyone is a little busier than usual.

Well 10 days later, I got a respond. It says that I have to edit the story and check for grammatical and spelling errors. Funny thing is, I did that already. And as mentioned earlier, it only took a day at the other site. Weird!!

I can sympathize with the frustration. The last stories I submitted took right around a week to finally post. I've been sending stories to Lit off and on now for a few years, and the past few months is the longest it's taken for a story to appear on the site. As you said, other sites post them within a couple of days. I imagine there's a fair number of stories submitted per day now, just look at how many actually *do* post each day. My guess is that there's just too many stories submitted at once to get them all posted in a few hours' time. I'd hate to see the backlog of stories waiting to go up.

I guess, ultimately, the important thing is that you *do* hear from somebody in charge, or your story posts.

The worst part to this matter is that I'm about to start on Part 2 of the story that Lit have yet to post here. It's going to be pretty funny if Part 2 end up getting posted here before Part 1 ever sees the internet at all.

Already, I'm getting some request from readers on the other erotica website asking me to post a sequel to my story. But here at Lit, it's not even posted yet. And I wrote it on the 4th of the month.

wow, youve certainly been waiting. It only took around a week or so for mine to post. I wonder why some posts take a week, and others it seems stay in limbo for weeks and weeks.

Perhaps they should allow some of the senior members here at lit help get these stories posted. Im sure alot of people would be more than willing to volunteer some time getting them processed.
