I have more female friends than male friends. I just appeal to them more easily, I guess. They'll talk to me about their problems, ask my advice, things like that. BUT the second I ask them out, they drop me like a piece of hot lead.

I don't have AOL, so didn't open that one.

I don't have any talents with AV's (someone else did mine), so not that one either.

I don't remember seeing the one on girls guide to fishing etc.

There were a number of threads about the Daylight Savings time switch, so it was a duplicate thread fighting for attention with the others

I didn't open the one about you getting to 100 posts, I never open any of those kinds of threads. Too many of them on the board IMHO.

I don't know what a Tenacious D is, or the wonder twins. You aren't from my generation.

Airplane was an okay movie, but I don't remember seeing that thread, either. I don't usually open threads about movies unless it is about one I want to so see.

I didn't open "I still love cartoons" because I don't.

I remember reading about your crush on Miles after I got back from vacation but I didn't post at that point.

I am not turned on at all by Britney Spears. I like men.


Conclusion: I posted to the topics that interested me and not to the ones that didn't. Keep starting them, you'll find your niche.

But...I'm not really a big poster anyway - I tend to "lurk" more than post, so I may not be a good example.

Well, I just got back on Lit yesterday after a 3 or 4 day hiatus (can you imagine, 3 or 4 days without Lit?!) so I haven't really noticed any threads you've started, aside from this one.

good point..maybe my interests tend to lean toward "guy" things...and i may not have posted to alot of your threads..but i've read alot of them...you have a lot of really great things to say...but..usually by the time i get to a thread...the things i've wanted to say have been said by someone else...thanks for taking the time to give your input..
