i typed in a profile but it is not updating all it says is this literotica user has not set up a profile
why does my profile not update?

Give the public profile a little time to update. I see you've entered something when I view it on your About page here on the forum.

If I search you via the search feature on the story side, I also see the same first few words of your update listed below your name in the search results. It's in the database. It just hasn't updated on the profile yet. A lot of the site is cached, and updates on a regular schedule. It should match what you've entered within 24 hours of when you entered it.
That being said, the story-side profile recently experienced some updating issues. Those issues appeared to be resolved, but if yours doesn't update within that 24-hour period, it may need to be revisited again.
