Why does incest get a bad rap?

The HBO Series, Game of Thrones has taken incest to a whole new level. Breeding with family members to keep bloodlines pure; things of that nature. And this show is very popular right now.

That is based on fact some royal lines did that. Amazing when you consider that the usual effect of inbreeding is birth defects or "feeble" children. Certainly explains some of the crack part rulers some countries had at some point.

I saw this comedian over at catch the rising star the other night.

He tells this story about how his wife and he want to spice up the sex life.

She suggests role playing. He is not sure what it is so she tells him it's pretending to be other people in situations that you have always fantasized about. She gives him the example of always having a thing for a man in uniform.

She asks if he understands and he says absolutely!

It's like any other relationship, it depends on the people. If you ever met my ex wife you'd loathe the concept of marriage.

well I'm going to say if the person is say over 21* or has lived away from home for a bit, then who am I to say anything about it.(same goes if they weren't raised as family)
but when any of the participents are younger then 21, or it occured/started before the age of consent (yes I'm aware that it's 18) I'm not ok with it.

as for reading or writing incest, well I got no problem with it.

*I use 21 because by then there is more maturity less likely for it to be something the person doesn't want/forced, or to be a late on-set child abuse.
