why do we get drunk to find a sex partner?

So many of us wanting to get laid, have to get drunk to do it, or seek out someone who is drunk as our partner. Why?

you dont have to get drunk to get laid, or even find a drunk partner - usually going after someone who is drunk is taking advantage of them....you run a better chance of not getting drunk or being with someone who isn't drunk....do you really wanna sleep with someone who is drunk and not truly into it? that's just wrong

It has to be down to inhibitions - obviously, there's scales of drunkeness but I find sex tends to be more fun, and a lot dirtier, if a few drinks have been partaken before hand.

Too much drink though can make the difference between knowing grins the next morning and questioning your entire existence!
