Someone forgets their kid in the car and roasts them. Response?
"Oh, that's such a tragedy. I feel so bad for the parents. They'll never forgive themselves."

Do the same thing with a dog?
"String the motherfucker up!

So some fuckhead goes to Africa and shoots a lion and everyone gets their panties in a twist. "WORSE THAN HITLER! I'LL SHOOT HIM IF I EVER SEE HIM!" and so on.

It's hard to take you seriously when you talk about how you take no joy in killing, when 90% of your twitter feed is made up of food porn.

I don't understand how you can forget an animal or a baby in a car.

Me, neither. Evenflo has a revolutionary new car seat with an alarm to remind the driver that there's a child in the car. How does a person forget their baby is with them?

The lion this guy shot was liked because it was unique. Further, this fuckhead was involved in another illegal hunt years ago. Finally, if he didn't know the hunt was illegal then he deserves to be shot because he either doesn't care what he shoots so long as he shoots something, or he's a moron who shouldn't be practicing dentistry because he lacks common sense.

The reason people get worked up over animals is because they're not the (supposedly) smartest animal on the planet. They are the innocents who want nothing more than to be fed, taken care of and given all the love and attention they can handle.

While Gandhi did not say it the saying still holds true: The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.

And P.S., Michael Vick and his gang of hoodlums should be strung up for what they did.

Someone deserves to die because they break the law? That's rather regressive of you, isn't it?

Animals don't have emotions and I really wish people would stop with this nonsense. They like you because you feed them and are nice to them. That's it. Starve and beat the fuck out of a dog and he's not man's best friend anymore. Humans on the other hand will continue to love a person that abuses them. (I don't know if that's good or bad.)

I thought it was how it treats it's prisoners. Or poor. Or children. Never heard the animal thing.

And P.S., Michael Vick and his gang of hoodlums should be strung up for what they did.

That's racist.

And human babies in their first 9 months are different in what way?

Yet...

...Americans intentionally murder them, legally, at will. Human. babies.

Just the other day some bimbo playgrounder mused about how hitting a poor little racoon in her car that day took a piece of her soul...

...while celebrating the fact that she is an eager, direct participant in the the intentional killings of tens and tens - if not hundreds - of human babies.

You can pose to care for animals all your starving ego needs to...

...but your gig is up when you support the intentional killing of the most vulnerable and innocent of human life.

Really? You can kill your kid up to 9 months old now??

When did that happen?

How about people who intentionally kill babies for convenience, Johnboy?

Can you show a case where someone was convicted of murdering their infant and not getting in trouble?

You can pose to care for animals all your starving ego needs to...

No it's not...LOL

Hunting is so awful! It make me cry that people are out there killing poor, defenseless animals! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to fire up the grill! We're having pork chops tonight!

Your neighbor paid his internet bill, did he? That's great news for a rugged individualist such as yourself.

Tell us why those who hunt animals for sport, in your words, should be shot...

...while those who intentionally kill human babies have your support.

Can you do that, Johnboy?

Link?

Or are you just making shit up again, as usual?

I'll wait.

But I know you'll just post some stupid hypocritical meme like you always do.

Because you're an idiot who mooches off the rest of society.

You spew that those who hunt for sport should be shot...

...while championing the intentional killing of human babies.

Why do you hate human life so much, Johnboy?

No link to my supposed championing of killing of babies.

Color me not surprised, eyer the liar.

It must suck for you to be so predictable.

What a strange way to frame an issue.
Human beings die, in all kinds of ways, in our modern world.
There is a sadness, when a child dies under tragic circumstances.
The child has lost the chance, of a life, fully lived.
We feel sympathy for the child's pain and suffering.
The child was one of us.

A child has the support structure of society to depend on, for care and support.
An animal that lives in the wild is always vulnerable to predation by man.

What the uproar us about, is theft, cruelty and reasonless killing.

He was a handsome animal, a friendly animal, a valued animal. This lion's trust was repaid by treachery. He was part of a conservation effort. The cubs of this intelligent, well mannered, even tempered animal will be killed, in the scramble for top lion. A valuable bloodline will be lost.

The dentist did not kill the lion because he was protecting someone, or protecting a food animal that his life depended on. He killed it because he has an obsession.
He selfishly hooked up with some sleazy people, and killed an animal that all people on this planet shared. He is such an awful Hunter, he did not kill the lion humanely.

"During the hunt – which the organisers later admitted was badly carried out – it was alleged that Cecil was lured at night about half a mile out of the national park using bait, and then shot with a bow and arrow. The next day he was found wounded by the hunters and killed, before being beheaded and skinned."

"Animals cannot be killed within the confines of the park. The hunters then removed his collar – further contravening park rules.

Yes, in many cases they should be executed. Everyone who commits rape, who shoots someone just for the lulz, who poaches animals, all the Catholic priests diddling young boys and several other crimes should be gotten rid of because quite clearly they will never be productive members of society.

We're supposed to be the smartest animal on the planet yet go out of our way to find and imaginative ways to inflict harm on others. However, we cringe when the subject of removing such rejects from society. Just today there was a story about a dog which bit a woman's arm which later had to be amputated. She and her husband owned the dog but the dog was euthanized.

Compare that to daily stories in my area of people shooting someone, or the two kids who thought it would be fun to drop a large rock on to the windshield of a passing car and nearly killed the passenger. These folks get to live for their deliberate acts yet the dog gets killed because it reacted, they think, because she accidentally touched an area which the dog had cut.

A) Yes, animals have emotions. If you don't see this then you're beyond hope.

B) Animals will still come back to you after you beat them because they've come to rely on and since you're the leader of the pack they're trying to curry favor. However, this only shows how despicable some people can be and why my above comments apply to these criminals.

C) Anyone who continues to love someone that abuses them has a mental disorder. Unfortunately I was witness to just such an event.

I'd take an animal, almost any animal, over people who think animals are just things to be possessed. Either take care of it or don't have one. It's that simple.

Read the quote in my sig. Heinlein was dead on.
