Why do older women never trim their pubic hair?

I saw some pics of the net, of older (not old) women who have excessive hair growth down there. It's really ugly and unattractive.
Is it so hard to just trim your bush with some scissors and a shaver maybe. I am not saying shave it all. But you could just shave it below your stomach and around it and just leave a triangle above.
Is that so hard?

Can't speak for anyone else, but me. I'm 44(is that older??) I hate it. I have always trimmed very close and in the last 5 years, started shaving totally. God it feels so much better! My husband loves it, in fact he volunteers for the task of shaving when ever I want.

You know, just because you don't like it, doesn't mean that other people feel the same way as you do. There are actually men who have the opposite opinion than you have. It's after all a free world, so people are free to do as they want, even if you don't want them to. And what will you do, if you meet a woman who's just right for you, and she don't want to shave??

I actually prefer my wife to keep her bush natural while I shave my cock completely, wer kind of a 360 from what other couples do.

Exactly......my husband loves my bush and he would be disappointed if I shaved or trimmed closely.

Ive never seen pubic hair grow up on the stomach. Thats one hair woman.

Im 27, I dont shave. I have, but dont like to. I trim, I "sculpt" meaning I shave my inner thigh creases and labia, leaving hair on the mons.

Men dont always shave. Do you? Maybe your woman dont like all that 5 inch hair on yours.

Gain a little sensitivity, I seriously doubt its an "older woman issue"

Actually when my hair gets long I do cut it to make it look nicer and for better airflow.

I don't think it's an age issue as opposed to a preference issue. To each their own I say. I also think it's kinda harsh to judge whether it looks ugly or not. While it might not be your thing, they obviously don't seem to have any problems with it. Certain cultures have certain trends; ours seems to be leaning towards a hairless genital state for now. Ten years from now, we might look back and go "What were we thinking?!" just the way we look back at bell bottoms, mullet hair cuts, parachute pants, etc..

And no it isn't hard to anything if you put your mind to it, but again... it's their choice.

I'm 27 and I trim mine close but dh doesn't want me to shave it off. I'd like him to trim or shave a little but he doesn't want to and I can live with it.

As long as both of you guys are happy, I'm all for it!;)

We're both happy with each other...btw love your name LE.:D

Well, first you have to define what you consider "older", then "excessive", and finally "ugly" and "unattractive".

Actually, as women get older (I'm talking 60s+ for the most part), the pubic hair diminishes quite a bit. The same for men. Otherwise, it stays about the same. I'm 42, and I've noticed that I'm beginning to "thin out" and "lighten up" considerably from when I was in my 20s.

You do realize there is 1. a fetish, and 2. a preference for body hair? Yes, there are men out there - normal, health men - who actually prefer their women not to shave or trim at all. Some go so far as wanting women to not shave their legs or under their arms, though I believe that falls more under the fetish category. Also, hope you never get involved with a woman from Europe. Europeans have a much healthier attitude regarding pubic hair, in that they accept what is normal. For some Europeans, the idea that one would shave their pubic area is considered to be strange and weird.

I did have a friend who had dark hair (on her head, never saw her private areas), who had a line of very fine dark hair that trailed from her belly button straight down to (I assume) her mons) She never shaved it, and always wore a two piece bathing suit. She got hit on by guys just as much as any other woman, so I don't think it bothered them, either.

Ugly and unattractive is in each individual's eyes. I might consider something ugly that the majority of people consider to be attractive. That's life. You accept it and move on.

If women who are hairier than you prefer do not do it for you, well, then look at porn of women who do. It's not like it takes much effort to do so.

Ok, I generally prefer not to be like this, but ...

Zor quit making stupid topics dude. I dont know if anybody here saw but a handfull of your posts and topics, but I remember about a dozen and it strikes me youre either 12 or retarted or you act like one or other most of time. Its like youve never had sex nor sen a naked woman except in pics.

Before anybody bothers to flame this, first read a dozen of MightyZor's topics/posts, just do a search. After that, flame away, I could care less, this is getting stupid.

Oh, and if you want hair, over here in Montreal women have enough of it for rest of world, like they never heard of a razor. I could care less if they shaved privates, but underpits and legs would be nice if they intend to wear provocative outfits. Guys that like hairy women are a minority as are guys that shave their privates (try it and endure the itch for a year, then be told by SO that you dont need to and see if majority keep at it).

Zor, go out and get laid already.

Forgot this:

I wont be reading replies here most likely, so if you want me to see something directed at me like you flaming me) you will have to PM me.

:p

Thanks for the compliment pw27. Appreciate it.

But as usual I just wanted to say that what Chele said made the absolute boatload of sense to me here. If it isn't your tastes then look elsewhere. Why be insulting to other people with different tastes?

Why don't we all just bow down and do what you want?

Hmmmm....

Because they're OUR bodies and we can do what we want with them?

Every time I've shaved I've gotten the worst ingrown hair/itchy/rash unpleasantness I could imagine and I would NEVER shave it again. Beyond that, I dislike a shaved pussy...I like knowing I'm with another woman, not a prepubscent little girl. but that's me

Per trimming..eh, if I feel like i might, but i mostly just let it grow wild...never had a complaint.

Because it's me

And I always worry that guys who want clean shaven girls are looking for some little girlie.

I think it is a sign of the times...................As folks get older you will see more shaved or trimed.......
skitten and I have made comments when we rent an older porn fick like 70 ish and all the chicks have long staright hair and a big furry bush.
Then check out a new one and the chick will be shaven or trimed very nice and he may have his balls shaved.
I think it is all about times changing.............

Ignorance is NOT bliss!

Each person has their own likes and dislikes...I prefer a well-shaved pussy, but some do not. You also have to take into account - in a big way- what the person would like to do for themselves. Some women don't want to trim or shave, some make it part of their routine in the morning...
When you post things like that it makes you sound ignorant. There's the bottom line. Done.

Shy Guy is right on the money with his post. What a boring world it would be if we all liked the same thing. I personally do not like the shaved look on women or men. I do not think it is ugly it is just that I like running my fingers through my lover's pubic hair it is so soft and silky. Seems to me that Thor is a bit narrow minded in his statements.

On the contrary, I think Zor's point is well taken aside from his natural preceptions. I think the rest of you people just like to flame him for whatever reasons. Maybe his point of view is not open minded, or he doesn't say it as nice and polite as you wish. Get over it, he has much right as anyone else here to say what he feels and express themselves.

Ok back to the point, I think for the most part younger women are more open, and more willing to try new things. Generally older people are more conservative, and repressed depending on how they were raised and or how comfortable they are with their bodies. For the most part I believe these perceptions to be correct. Now I wouldn't call lit characteristic of most of the general population simply because alot of people would be ashamed and not open to appreciate this site.

That doesn't make it right nor wrong, generally however, for most people in the bible belt sexuality is a private issue only to be delt with your partner. Because of the openness and expression of younger generations, I feel tatoos, shaving, and piercing to be more widely accepted practices than those of later generations.

The point being that generally I think this is true, given the above arguements. Whether you agree or not is your opinion. Good, bad or ugly, we all have those that is what keeps all this interesting in the long run.

I'm probably the oldest here

and I'm not repressed nor afraid to try new things - what on earth has that to do with one's pubic hair - goodness me!!!
