After I post a disclaimer on how my story is heavily nonconsent, but is in BDSM because the domination and submission aspect is what it's really about:
Dear Author,
Regarding your story "Lost in Arabia" I have to wonder why you want to limit the
readers to your story by your choice of topic and the extreme nature of same.
I love a good BDSM story but I find nothing erotic about a kidnapping of a woman
who, until the kidnapping has any interest in the subject and who is raped
repeatedly until she "submits" to her abductor. Maybe this is a fantasy for a
minority of people but it certainly does not fall within BDSM. You should have
catagorized it as Non-consent which is certainly more to the point. I find that
authors get negative comments from readers because, among other reasons,
mislabeling the story and drawing readers to a story they wouldn't read if they
knew what was going to be in it.
I hope, since the story has started with a disclaimer, you continue to do so.
Maybe you won't have so many readers who don't want to read the story as might
otherwise be the case.
Thanks for you time.

My response:
Dear Reader;
Given that I posted a very descriptive disclaimer at the beginning of my story, I can only conclude you are an idiot who chooses to read things that you know you won't like, then proceed to mail the author insults veiled thinly by a layer of pretentiousness and polysyllabic words in the hopes that it will make you look intelligent. I should perhaps go further to explain that you did not manage to come off as overly intelligent - I normally would not feel the need to clarify further, but it seemed necessary as you clearly need to have things spelled out for you in such terms as I would normally reserve for someone who is mentally retarded.
Please refrain from mailing me in the future as I deal with idiots enough throughout my week and have no wish to hear from them in my spare time.
