Why do guys hate musicals?

I was just flipping through channels and found an interesting western movie with a young Clint Eastwood. It seemed amusing so I was watching. My husband came in and started watching. He usually likes Western type movies. When after about 10 minutes Clint starts singing a love song.

My husband then says, "Just take and gun and shoot me, a western with a singing Clint Eastweeod. I can't take it!"

So why don't guys like musicals? I need some discussion here.

some musical are pretty damn good. paint your wagon is, in my opinion, one of the funniest movies ever made and i'm assuming that's what you were watchin. lee marvin sang in it also. robin hood, men in tights was pretty much a musical and funny as hell too. i'm not gonna watch marry poppins with you but then, i'm not gonna watch all westerns with you either.
