Why do girls with obvious fake boobs always get targeted negatively?

Im so tired of seeing this in the media and on online forums and chat rooms. There is just so much negativity aimed at girls with obvious and oversized fake boobs. I’m really quite appalled by it when we’re meant to be living in a time where ‘anything goes’ and we are all meant to be so much more tolerant than before. But if a girl chooses to get xl breast implants or 1,500 cc implants suddenly she’s fair game for horrible comments. You never see any posit e comments about the aesthetic or the girls attempt to improve herself or change herself and being empowered to do so. Even on her there are ‘natural boobs only’ threads but never ‘fake boobs only’.
Ok, that over but why is this the case and why can’t people be more positive and appreciative and supportive of girls who like the fake look?

Not a fan of the fake look. It's a bit of a turn off for me but to each their own.

I think its similar to the negative comments and attitudes that guys who wear really bad toupees get. The obvious fakeness looks ridiculous to many people.

When it's completely "oversized" or looks like someone just took a basketball and attached it to someone's chest, then it's NOT an enhancement.

No ONE really likes FAKE - anything!

However, if someone went from a "B" to a "C" then it would look more natural and be more acceptable.

I think this is kind of correct. It's not the fact that they're fake as much as when they're so obviously fake that it borders on parody. The same way that people with really bad plastic surgery on their face become the target of ridicule. There are great breast jobs out there and there are bad ones. Same as there's good plastic surgery of any kind and bad plastic surgery of any kind.

Now I'm not suggesting it's "okay" to ridicule anyone for their appearance but there's a belief or an idea that if you choose to do something to your body that you really didn't have to do (meaning it wasn't medically necessary) then it's fair game for ridicule.

People get crazy tattoos also and catch hell for it.

It's not the act, it's the excessive nature of the act. It stands out, people notice. People react.

This attitude is bullshit, and people should take their judgemental ass opinions about someone else's body and go fuck themselves.
We have finally come to a point where people are largely okay with most body modifications (tattoo's, piercings), but we're often not okay with plastic surgery. Fuck off, and get your own damn body to scrutinize. I fully support women deciding what they want their body to be like and making it happen.

Everyone has their own opinion on what the "perfect body" looks like. That is the base line for all judgments. If this is a truly free society then all comments are allowed just as all looks are allowed. Thoughts are to be expressed, that is how you interact with someone.
If you criticize ones opinion, then aren't you now judging?

Wow - who appointed you the arbiter of 'acceptability'? Obviously a lot of people DO like 'fake boobs' - including the people who have them.

Well, if someone wants crippling themselves they are obviously entitled to do so. But I reserve my right of personal opinion that most body modifications are ugly. In my opinion tattoos on women are atrociously stupid ugliness, and obviously artificially enlarged breasts are crippling. People have rights to malformations applied for fun, and I have rights to feel sad and angry about it. That's their problem, and it's my problem, both personal and completely independent.

Just my opinion but I don't like fake anything. That being said, I'm also a live and let live sort of person.

Can you imagine the backlash against men if they could
artificially enlarge their penis as easily as women can artificially enlarge their breasts? The men would be labeled superficial and pathetic.

You answered your own question. It's because they are fakes. Everyone should just be natural.

Huh, yeah, this is true. They'd be mocked.

But yeah I say live and let live.

You are absolutely spot on.

You are absolutely spot on.

The gist is this: please do not upload to our servers (as an attachment or user icon/profile image) any photographic images that
1) contain genital closeups

<snip>

To clarify: no, you cannot upload photos of your erect penis or

3) Avatars/Profile Pics. These are your images which you can upload to display on your profile page and next to each post you make.

I think that the comparison to obvious toupees pretty much nails it.

Hey AAnderseen,

"we’re meant to be living in a time where ‘anything goes’ and we are all meant to be so much more tolerant than before" I've been hearing this for close to seven decades, unfortunately, it just ain't so and will never actually happen. As long as we have differences, no matter what they are, there will be folks who will bitch, complain, make fun of or try to outlaw or ban them. 'sigh'

While I don't target them negatively, they certainly do not appeal to me.

My sis-in-law had a boob job done may years ago, and has had no issues or regrets.
And they look (and feel) just fine

Breast size does not define a woman or necessarily make her attractive. Self acceptance and self confidence are the MOST attractive traits. I like breasts and I think they are one of a woman's distinguishing characteristics. But it's more about how a woman feels about her natural self that's important. My woman is flat as a pancake. It's a challenge for her to find clothes that look good. But I love her little kitties, and so does she. She rarely needs a bra. They don't get in the way of her sporting activities. and she nursed three babies into very healthy adulthood with those little boobies. Good for her.

IMHO this is spot on.

who the hell told you that YOUR opinion is worth anything if you are going to piss on other opinions. Ohhh, you don't like it when the mirror is held up to you do you?

Wow - who appointed you the arbiter of 'acceptability'? Obviously a lot of people DO like 'fake boobs' - including the people who have them.

whether people do or do not like fake boobs, we all are entitled to our opinions. Because someone disagrees with you does not automatically make them the "arbiter of acceptability".

I will admit that at least three times in my life, I have had people ask if I have 'had work done' on them. Each time, I was surprised and feeling somewhere between flattered and paranoid. All three were women, btw, and at least one of them was looking for advice in getting hers enlarged.
