His recent attempt is a song that he sings in honor of the heros of the New York/Pentagon Terrorists Attack. Apparently, he is paying alot of Martha Raye's money to a voice coach to convince him that he can sing. He sounds horrible. He swore to Howard Stern that if his singing was criticized on the show ever again, he will never appear on the Howard Stern Show again. Aw well, he'll be truly missed. It was a good laugh while it lasted.

Oh whoa yourself. Faggot, Nigger, Kike, Wop and Newark are horribly offensive words used every night in thousands of nightclubs across the country with millions of liberal, non-racist people laughing. There is nothing wrong with words, only the power you give them, and that power comes from context.

My point was Guy obviously thought that the Lit Gen Forum was a clubby enough venue for him to use the word in a back room boys context. It is more than possible to use the word without being a "damn racist".

Personally I think he's wrong about the Gen Board (or any forum outside of godhatesfags.com) being the insular little bachelor party parlour he thinks it is, and he shouldn't have used the word.

BUT being funy at a funeral doesn't mean you're a misanthrope and using the word Faggot for comedic efect in an inappropriate setting doesn't make him the scum of the earth with a one way ticket to sensitivity training hell. On one hand I feel obligated to start the 'flaming' that miles and others are waiting for. I mean, sexy-girl is far too sweet to dish out that type of outraged 'burn him at the stake' mentality.
On the other hand I'm apathetic. I mean, it's GuyJD, I've had qweefs that I've cared more about.

Then again, I've noticed this isn't the only post he's made today, on the shoplifting thread he started yammering on about some 'drag queen' who bought something at his store who he busted because his boyfriend stole a pencil. I think this is a deliberate attempt to see what he can say and call 'those types' on this board.

I'm not quite sure what I'm expected to say, I don't think anyone has ever called him the brightest ball in the basket so it's possible he lacked the ability to understand what is or isn't offensive, maybe he comes from a background where the use of that word is common. I've met many older women who didn't understand why anyone would consider the term 'nigger' offensive.
