Why Daddy and not hubby?

Can someone explain to me why so many women have a Daddy thing and there are so few who don't want a actual adult wife and husband role play? Why not have a civil respectful partner who treats you like an equal and not a child?

It could be that those women, like myself, that are in a husband/wife relationship want something different. This is a fantasy site and sometimes a woman wants or needs to fantasize about a different role.

I am not seeking a Daddy but I do see the appeal for those that want it.

It was the idea of "roleplaying husband and wife" I was reacting to I guess a husband and wife could roleplay being some different husband and wife
