Why Cats & Dogs Hate Halloween

Seriously, I can tell you why cats or dogs hate Halloween.

There are lots of people roaming around in very strange fashion. They are coming to the door of a cat and/or dog house and WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY COMING TO THE DOOR FOR? If they have come for tabby, tabby is well positioned under the bed and TABBY GOT CLAWS! If they have come for Rover, will Rover may not be allowed to defend the house as per usual but, ROVER GOT FANGS!

Not only that, the people who come to the door are dressed in extremely gauche fashion. These are NOT the kind of people pets like to visit a well ordered house.

I don't think dogs mind the costumes too much after all, they're getting your attention. Though, you are putting your skin in jeopardy of serious scratching while putting a Halloween costume on a cat.

They don't hate Halloween... they hate dressing up. Trying to get my cat into his fairy costume for the top of Christmas tree is bloody hard work!

Ha, you need personal protective equipment for that. Long sleeve leather gloves and a wielder's face shield.

Too cute......

Me kitties would have me eyeballs fer breakfast if I did that to them!

They would wait until the stillness of the night, then pounce like mighty lions upon my vulnerable face and reorganize it with the skill of a vengeful demon!

Hahaha. My costume was a matador this year and I tried to dress my dog up like my bull. It would have been so cute, but he didn't agree.

Bwahaha! We really are attuned. I was just wondering if I could teach my dog to rush a red cape as I brandished it. :D

Great costume idea. Sorry the pup didn't agree. Next year you could always be a policeman with a K-9, but then you know how people are about a man in uniform. You'd get quite a few treats, I think.

My stepmother is a breeder/handler, and her dogs dress for Halloween EVERY year. They start bouncing when she comes in with costumes.

They love it for some reason.
