Yes, you are being punished. However, there is a magic potient that will end the punishment. The magic potient is called Nyquil. Chug down a dose of that and you will pass out for eight hours of so. The stuff will also work against your cold while you sleep. Good luck.

Are you taking any decongestants? They tend to be stimulating and cause insomnia in many people. Also, are you eating any foods (especially soups) with monosodium glutamate (MSG) or autolyzed yeast extract? They can cause insomnia in some people.

Menthol is a stimulant as I found out when mum put some on Boo when she was a tiny baby with a cold. she wouldn't sleep all night!

So you may find if you're having anything menthol that might be keeping you awake.

Nurse Lisa says "feed a cold, fuck a fever" or somethin like that.

Anyways, make a ice pack to put on your lil head. Put a bunch of ice cubes in a bowl and bring them with you. Get a heating pad and your favorite dildo and get in bed with everything.

Now, experiment with the ice cubes, don't be afraid. Put the heating pad around your dildo and turn it on the "Danger, Super Duper Hot" setting. Try alternating between ice and heat on different parts of your lil tired sore body until you pass out.

You will have to change the sheets when you come to.

I was always like this with colds. But it is one of my favorite times to read. Everything becomes a bit more vivid and surreal. Hope you feel better.

I am not sure I understand the problem.....
This just leaves you awake at a time appropriate for those of us who are many time zones away!

Well... I would have been available but leading a life of debauchery and insobriety routinely disrupts my biological as well as the various logical functions..

I am all over that Nyquil advice... this decongestant med stuff almost always comes in two flavors... generally labeled "Day" and "Night" but really meaning awake and sleeping... It is prudent not to confuse these medications... as you clearly have....

But again... there is this silver lining of this particular viral mucus cloud hovering about your head.... Here you are awake... in the middle of the night... children all safe in their beds..... nothing but you and your horny Lit friends about.... There is no problem... this is merely another of life's opportunities...

As for me... I am still trying figure out what my username is supposed to mean.... other than being derivative of the wildlife advisory you posted the other day.

And one last piece of 60's advice.... "and the ones your mother gives you don't do anything at all"... (except keep you awake). And yes! Definitely it is "Fuck a fever"!

My advice is to definitely go to the doctor and ask him about nighttime medication. I love Comtrex for night and day. Take the nighttime side and you'll be sleeping before you know it.

Probably not. Lots of really awful people sleep just fine.

Cold meds? They knock me out, but after an hour I wake up and can't get back to sleep. Try cutting the dose in half.
