I registered a few days ago and I can't get into the chat part of this site, or go to the "modify profile" section either. Is there a minimum number of posts required to do this or what? Maybe I missed something when I registered? (walks off shaking his head...befuddled)

Yes you are right CelestialBody you do have to register in the chat area seperate from this site. You don't have to come up with a different name but you have to register. As to why you can't get into modify your profile Mongoloid you might want to check the faq section and see if it lists a reason or ask the moderator.
