I know, but it's a lovely sunny afternoon and my friends are out with their families and my kids have friends over playing so they are happy and I'm just here sitting at my computer.... can't be bothered doing my art, reading or writing.... I'm just in a downer mood, I will be fine.

Perhaps you're just slowing for a bit, smelling the roses, tickling the morning dew, enjoying the prisms in it's design. The Rat Race demands being in the fastlane until you either blow a gasket, or get tired of the pace, and take a temporary off-ramp.
Don't envy "life" as it passes you by, enjoy the stillness, because you'll be back in the fastlane soon enough. Then you'll be wishing it'd be passing you by more often!

I think that is it. This year I have slowed down HEAPS with the hours I work. I was a workaholic for so many damn years.... now I have caught up with myself the last few months I am ready for another challange but am scared to jump back on the merry-go-round again and wear myself out again....

I've been smelling the roses this year and the ones here in NZ are starting to get stale.....
