It's what Stopokochac said, nobody here can tell you but it's not unusual. I'm the same, and I've had no trouble finding partners who share my fantasies from the dom side. (Coincidentally, my name is Em too and I'm 26 years old lol.) Just be verry careful and maybe explore this with a therapist before exploring the fantasy IRL. I wish I had and some of my experiences have not been great so be smarter than me pls.

There could be tons of reasons, but strangers on the internet won't be able to tell you. We may be a safe place to admit it while you work through it, but only you can know the answer.

If it's bothering you, a therapist focused on trauma would probably be the way to go.

If you just want to explore it sexually, there are stories and probably a number of people here willing to try.

Follow Sweetestgirlem's advice about real life. Be very careful, have safe words in play after LONG conversations. You need to have ultimate trust with anyone you might play with IRL. Know that this could go very bad, even with those things. Even if the partner does everything expected and stops if you need. Have conversations with them after (even if it goes well). Kinks are fine, even the more dark and taboo ones, but one needs to be clear and safe.
