..and what does he do?

What is your dad's occupation. Or former occupation?
What did he get his degree in?

Forestry.

He was a forest ranger and worked his way up the political ranks until he found himself 40 pounds heavier and stuck behind a desk, rather than in the forest.

uhhhh ok I'll play.

My father is an aircraft engineer for the U.S. Air Force.

My dad's really not worth mentioning, but I think he's a plumber by trade...not really sure.

My mom, on the otherhand rocks. She worked in a gold mine for 15 years, but quit to go back to school. She is working on her nursing degree. I'm so proud of her. :D

I'm your daddy!!!
Um...guess that won't work, huh?
Oh well.

My father owned his own real estate company. Big one too...
Too bad he had to close it down cause of his cancer.

Tool and Die maker / engineer. Not even sure they train people to be tool and die makers anymore.

He's retired. But he was a truck driver.

His degree was in life and common sense. :)

Daddy's a piece of shit.

But he's a piece of shit with a degree in Physics from Stanford. He used to be in the oil business as a geologist/engineer of all things. Now he's into something else. Haven't spoken with him in 10ish years so I have no idea.

Mine was the milkman, hell I may be related to half of you!

 ;)

My dad worked for the United States Postal Service for nearly 25 years before taking early retirement...he now works at a grocery store..and loves it. He never went to college, he served in Army for 4 years though.

I realize now my Dad is such a pimp, when before he was a gross embarrassment to me.

He's retired now.

But he was in the service as sup. of Physiological training. Yeah he took aspiring pilots up in the vomit comet.

His degree is in Physical Science, from my alma mater.

yeah we keep it in the family.

My dad is a mechanic. He owns and opperates his own garage. He used to be a carpenter. I don't think there is anything he can't do.

Dad was a Prinston man in Civil Engineering. Finished his degree during WW2, finished the last two years in the Navy in Panama. Owned his own full service station till a mechanic he heired ripped off the station leaving my dad with almost nothing. He got on with the Corps of Engineers for 27 years and retired. We grew apart for several reasons, mainly him for being an asshole. I have to call him, he never calls. Guess he forgot my birthday or that I exist, untill I call.

My Dad owns a warehousing and trucking company.

He has a Degree in Animal Husbandry:confused:

Im not QUITE sure how the two are related

My father was a sectarian novice priest when he met my mother. Her's was a light so bright, he left the sect, married her and fathered seven of us.

Four of us would go to war................ one would die just shy of 30. My late brother tried so hard to join us in times of battle,.... yet fate would not have it.

My father's father was a 2 world war USMC Veteran. His father's father would suffer a lynching at the hands of the 'Pinkerton's'.

My father's wife as it happened, was a distant cousin to Jack............ Murdered in Texas back in 1963.............. and I, number 6 of seven children.......... just so happened to be born on May 29th..... as JFC, and not JFK...............

I carry my guardian angel medallion constantly........... not for fear of death............. but for fear of what might be in an un-challanged, un-civillized world.

My dad is an electrical engineer. He got his degree from Michigan Tech Universtiy

He works in performance testing on cellualar systems.

My dad is a civil/environmental engineer.

My step dad is a pressman with McCall's Patterns.

My father was a bum...err, excuse me, a Renaissance man. He came from a family of artists, and in his early years was professional hitchhiker and child support dodger.

Then he apparently settled down and became a free lance writer. Before he died, he owned and operated a web site development company.

That is about the sum total and knowledge of my father.

Now, ask me about the myriad of stepfathers I've had throughout the years...

Surveyor, civil draughtsman, Construction inspector, Works Super... retired. Moved us FAR too many times when I was little.
:(

He is 80 tomorrow - and in failing health - we will spend the weekend around my pool, with a small family party.
