So, Ann and WQ have cancer, and while I'm not trying to belittle that, I am curious as to what health issues people are dealing with.

Me:
Epilepsy (no, I'm not affected by flashing lights)
Kidney cysts (the biggest is 54mm. My kidneys are twice the size they should be)
Kidney stones (the biggest being 11mm and is held in place with cysts)
Asthma

Oh, and depression and anxiety. I also have to organise some sort of heart monitor thing to make sure that's fine.

I spent the day in a hospital yesterday after 6 seizures, I'm curious about health.

I'm cancer free. WQ lives in a third world country where shaking chicken feathers constitutes medicine, so the prognosis isn't good.

Sorry to hear you have been going through so much!:rose:

You might want to think about doing a thread about who is the sickest sexually. It might lift your spirits????

... I'm an Aussie, too. We have great doctors and wonderful research facilities, and ....

I'm feeling way too serious for this, and my brain still hurts from the seizures. Enjoy your trolling.

How awful for you, MsMinx :rose:
Here's hoping you have at least a few good days over Christmas/New Year :)

You started the thread...

You could always sneak into the US. It's not like it's tough. I could recommend a nephrologist. Maybe put you in the lithotripter.

You're probably right.
The surgery and radiation was just an unexpected bonus!

Surgeries. Do your doctors get paid by the slice? How hard is it to remove a melanoma the size of a bb? Your story has more holes in it than sean's needle punctured arms.

I have several lesions that need to be done by different surgeons.... plastics and ortho are next.

Thank you.

Good thread idea. I'll do that when I can think better. At the moment when I try to think about sex my brain says penis and leaves it at that. Post seizure brain is weird.

Thank you. I should be right for a while. Hopefully the med increase will stop this shot.

Yes, I did start the thread, and I don't have the sense of humour today for feeding trolls. In the mean time, have a good one.

Why do people feel the need to announce when they are done talking to me?

Nothing worth complaining about. Depression/anxiety, acid reflux, stress has been fucking me up lately.

Well, let's see. Other than serious brain injury in infancy, a pre-epileptic diagnosis, cardiac dysfunction, some burnt-out joints, a genetic predisposition to Alzheimer's and certain cancers, rapidly-deteriorating hearing, vision, and memory, and occasional (bi-weekly) near-suicidal depression, I guess I'm okay.

Q: What do you name a heavily-scarred, tailless, one-eyed, one-eared, three-legged cancer-surviving dog?
A: 'Lucky'

Fuck, I just have to answer this.
Because, you're a troll. By telling you they're done with you for the thread, day, eternity, whatever, they're cementing it for themselves. Also, in the real world, you say something when you're done with an argument, so this is the online equivalent.

Depression and anxiety suck. They effect me more than anything else. My kidneys hurt sometimes, my chest gets a little tight, but the depression and anxiety is a constant battle.

Too late. You already signed off.

Wow, fuck. That's a lot to deal with

I'm currently pretty healthy.

I have an 8 year old daughter though that is struggling with insomnia and disordered eating. (Not full blown anorexia yet. Hoping to help her enough now to prevent that from happening.) Several family tragedy type situations have happened over the past year that spun her life completely out of her control, and her little psyche is not dealing with it well.

2 year old son has also had 3 run ins with pneumonia over the past 6 months, and had an asthma attack so severe the other day we had to call an ambulance after 3 nebulizer treatments and two rescue inhaler doses because his lips were turning blue. Currently trying to get him in to a specialist and and have him allergy tested and put on long term asthma preventers.

I'm so sorry to hear all that! It must be very stressful for you. It's so scary when your kids aren't well.
I'm not sure where you are, but there's an organisation called the butterfly foundation that helps people with eating disorders. They have a Facebook page, if you'd like to have a look.
Your poor little boy. That must have been terrifying! I hope you get to see a specialist soon.
