This is hard for me to admit but without a doubt the Rev. Al Sharpton is not only witty, sharp tongued, and opinionated, but Sharpton is damn funny...I'll watch the debates simply for the 15 minutes of Al Sharpton zingers...
Of all the MSNBC "Hardball" debates hosted by Chris Matthews, Al Sharpton turned in the best 60 minute performance...
I must say tho that Carol Mosley Braun finaly made a funny yesterday when she described why men can't solve problems,
Braun said that when she was little their pipes busted in the bathroom and water was going all over the place...Her father said "I can fix it" and raced off to the hardware store...
An hour or so later her father came home with a lawnmower...
John Kerry can be funny but he's mainly to busy attacking Dean...Kerry's best zinger was saying that the republicans idea of a prescription drug plan was to buy the drugs at a cheaper price from Rush Limbaugh's house-keeper...
IMO, Dean, Gephardt, Edwards, Lieberman, and Kucinich don't have a funny bone...That doesn't mean they can't win the nomination but IMO the american people prefer someone who can lead the country and make you laugh too...
GWB is fantastic at delivering zingers in every speech...GWB is great at ad-libing when doing a press conference too...I suppose that has alot to do with Bush's appeal to 50% of this country cuz his policies only serve to piss me off...
I would love to see a one-on-one debate between Sharpton and Bush...
So, who do you find the most entertaining of the democratic wannabe's...
