What do you listen to while you surf the net , If you listen to music at all while surfing .

Tonight my CD player is loaded up and ready to go . The 5 CD's that I've picked For tonight's essential listening are in this order.

Rage Against The Machine - Killing In The Name ,
Green Day - Dookie ,
Ice-T - Power
Limp Bizkit - Significantly Others
The Prodigy - The Dirt Chamber's Session Vol. 1 .

On a side note what format do you listen on CD , Tape , MD , MP3 or even Vinyl . I occasionally go into the attic and dig out some vinyl and treat myself to a night listening to my old record's , especially in winter sat in front of the fire , reading the cover's of the albums , headphone's on relaxing ( even though it gets annoying havin to get up and swap the records over ) . :D

Definitely Dream Theater. Either them or some good country music like Toby Keith (saw him in concert last sunday) or The Dixie Chicks. And I guess everything in between, heh.

Sorry, Bunny-boy, can't dance to Iron Maiden.

I'm doing the techno thing tonight.

I download from Napster ALL the time! I have it up and running anytime I am online. My library has everything from 50's music to modern bands like 98 degrees and Faith Hill to Patsy Cline. I have several different play list set up depending on my mood but there is ALWAYS something playing.

I can!

Well I can at least get sweaty to it..headbangin' and screaming...

I heard Marilyn Manson on Howard Stern say that he was initially attracted to his GF at that time when he saw her dancing to Maiden...he thought that was cool/weird...hey if it works for him...

I dig techno too....I like the long instrumental driving stuff..good background music for ..um...er fucking(seems strange to "make love" to that kinda music)

Hey Kitten....c'mere and show me that trick with your hair...;)

Either Meatloaf or Pantera, but have you ever tried typing to Pantera and not make mistakes??? It's Damn hard you know.

When I'm writing a story or an Email to a loved one I listen to the song he sent me, gets me thinking of him and then my true feelings come out.

Andrew sweetie I also sometimes get the old Vinyl out but all the damn jummping gets to me too much so I give up :)

I was actually listening to some of my Fav Pantera the other night, and you know I have to say that some of the words choosen reminded me of some people here. I do that a lot now, driving along with my Radio on I listen to the words and think "Oh Oh that's suchabody", weird I know but I can't help it.

Take Care :)

Currently Enigma 2: The Cross of Changes is playing in my CD Rom. :) (That's where my signature quote comes from, btw. Song #5 Silent Warrior.)

P.S.

Now it's 12:40 in the morning and I'm listening to Red Hot Chili Pepper's "Under The Bridge", R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts", G'N'R's "Don't Cry", "November Rain", and "Live And Let Die", and Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters"... :( ~sigh~

"I LOVE MUSIC!"

Most of the time,if you where to walk in my house, there will be music playing.

When I bought my new stereo,I got a 200 disc CD player. It's just like having a jukebox.I can put it on random play, and never hear the same song for about 160 hours.Thats almost 6 days.
I have a pretty good selection of rock,country,blues,from the 50's,60's,and 70's.
I also have some old country from the 20's,and30's,and 40's.

I make alot of my own tapes too.Just hit random on the CD player, and tape a song off each CD.

Plus there is a new radio station here where I live, thats nothing but classic rock from the 60's and 70's that I have been listening to lately.

"Oh I know what you mean Nicole about trying to type while your kicking out the jamms!"(LOL)

Jessie's diet's.........

( move along dear American friends you won't get this bit unless you get UK TV and watch the fast show )

Man step's forth from an old box car with mad hair and trouser's held up by string and shout's..."today I have mostly been listening to"..... heavy metal.

Motorhead
Iron maiden
Saxon
White snake
Black Sabbath
AC/DC
Meatloaf
Van Halen
Aerosmith
Hawkwind

Damn, when I saw the thread title, I thought you meant who's rocking me like the 1970s bumper sticker, If the Van is Rocking, Don't Be Knocking. I like that kind of rocking better, but realized this is a thread about MUSIC! Damn! Too bad!

At age 50, I guess my tastes in music are a bit corny. I like the old soft-rock I grew up with, romantic. In today's stuff, I like good harmonizing ala Back Street Boys, N Sync, or 98 Degrees. I like Brittany Spears singing Oops I Did It Again and Cher singing Do You Believe In Life After Love? No rap, no swearing, no parental-advisory stuff! And NO heavy-metal--PLEASE!

I also like some jazz and classical, although Frank likes a more diverse range of these than I do.

Commuting to work, I am more likely to be listening to a local radio talk show that focuses on investments in stocks and real estate, than to music.
